OERSSIRF Evaluations

June 03, 2011 2:58 PM | Vanessa Brewington (Administrator)

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen; A few weeks ago, we sent out notifications regarding the Oklahoma Emergency Response Systems Stabilization and Improvement Revolving Fund, or OERSSIRF Grant Project. In order to complete the process, the Department needs nine persons to review and score the proposals. So, this is a request for persons to serve as evaluators. The requirements are: 1) Not be affiliated with an agency or entity that is submitting a proposal. 2) Be available for the entire review process. The dates we have set aside for the reviews are June 13, 14, and 15. We do not know how long the review process will take, but each reviewer should be prepared to stay for the three days. The review process is open to the public. However, there isn'€™t any interaction between the reviewers and the public. The Department is unable to pay for your lodging, meals, travel, or your time. A drawing will be held on the morning of Monday, June 13 to determine the nine persons that will serve on the review panel. Persons willing to serve on the panel need to be in Room 806 at the Health Department at 0830 in order to take part in the drawing. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. We appreciate your willingness to volunteer for this project.

Last year, the Department dispersed approximately 1.2 Million Dollars to EMS Agencies. That was accomplished because volunteers were willing to serve as reviewers for the proposals we received. Please go to our website: http://www.ok.gov/health/Protective_Health/Emergency_Medical_Services/ for additional information concerning OERSSIRF. Please contact me if you have questions regarding the review process. Again, Thank you for your consideration.
